"I have delt with alot of insurance companies in my 35 years of life, and this is the best I've ever had! We use them for our renters, auto and we even used them for our venue for our wedding! This whole branch even sent us a congratulations card after our marriage. "I had a question about why my premium increased at the Carmel, Indiana location. I had a short conversation through text with a representative on 11/26/24, and they asked if 12/5/24 would work for a phone call. I said no but indicated that 12/6/24 would work. They never responded, so I followed up on 12/5/24. UPDATE 12/9/24: On 12/6/25 I received a call in response to my initial review. Marti called to inform me that premium adjustments were based on LexisNexis reports and gave me their number to contact them for more information. Jurs requested to speak with me after my initial review and we scheduled a call for 12/7/24. Quite quickly he accused me of including "incorrect information" in my review. This was shocking as he failed to approach the conversation constructively or professionally. Jurs said that my initial review made a team member cry and disclosed her name. While I apologized, he responded "that's what happens when you post something on a public forum". Despite his unprofessional and inappropriate comments I was hoping he could better explain my premium question to me. During the call I inquired and requested additional information to lower my premium. He had no knowledge of my initial premium inquiry or accident. After explaining my clean driving history aside from my recent accident he responded that premiums increase regardless of fault. Before ending the call he said would look into my request and asked me to revisit my initial review in light of his assistance. Right after the call I sent Jurs a screenshot that showed the communication between the State Farm representative and me. Despite explicitly asking him to review it he ignored my evidence entirely. On 12/8/25 I received a short email from Jurs encouraging me to purchase supplemental life insurance to bundle it with my auto insurance to "save" $50 every 6 months with no further explanation into my inquiry. Shortly after he sent me a screenshot of his laptop as proof of communication from his earlier statement and claims that I must have forgotten despite the fact that I followed up on 12/5/25. I told him that statement was false and asked him to review my screenshot for a second time however he ignored it again. His response to me—"What are you talking about? As I stated. WE responded. I can't take the fact you didn't receive a secured message from us." UPDATE 1/4/25: After sharing my experience on another platform Jurs mocked my review as my "feelings" and stated he "stands by his character," reinforcing his approach to customer relations. I also received a direct legal threat “your unprofessionalism, editing to show a one-sided opinion, and potentially harmful accusations could potentially be considered libel and defamation”. This threat came after posting a full screen recording of our conversation. My review is based on direct quotes, screenshots, and documented interactions, accurately reflecting my experience. After these interactions I switched to Drew Federau State Farm. Drew and his team took the time to thoroughly explain my premium increase breaking down all the factors and helped me identify the best discount options the same day I inquired. UPDATE 7/26/25: This update is to clarify the points made in response to the owner. I switched to Drew Federau on 1/12/25 when my policy period ended. When contacting me over the phone on 12/7/24 Jurs had no knowledge of my rate change, insurance information or initial premium question and did not provide me any further explanation into my inquiry. On 12/8/25 I received a short email from Jurs encouraging me to purchase supplemental life insurance to bundle it with my auto insurance to "save" $50 every 6 months with no further explanation into my inquiry. While it's unfortunate I had to share this negative experience, discrimination and threats against others are never acceptable and speak volumes about the integrity and professionalism. Best of luck addressing these issues in the future,"

The situation you’re referring to took place in 2024, during which I personally reached out to assist you—on a Saturday morning and while out of town—to help address a rate change that stemmed from personal factors outside of our agency’s control. I thoroughly explained the circumstances and rate adjustments both over the phone and in a follow-up email, ensuring full transparency. At that time, three licensed professionals also confirmed the information provided. While I understand the frustration that can come with insurance rate increases, our agency made every effort to communicate clearly and promptly—responding within minutes of your messages and following up through multiple channels. It’s disappointing to see another negative post on a different location’s page, especially given that we did everything within our power to support and inform you. While we strive to deliver excellent service to every individual we interact with, we also recognize that we cannot always meet everyone’s expectations. Lastly, I want to acknowledge the personal nature of your remarks. While it’s unfortunate, I choose to focus on serving our current clients with integrity and professionalism.
